Dr. Scott Rush, with MSU's Wildlife Department, will give a presentation entitled "Little Birds, Big Birds, and Things Between." The quarterly meeting will be in the Tisdale Auditorium of the Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge. The meeting is open to the public, and there is no charge. Light refreshments and a social time will follow the presentation.

REFUGE ARTIST IN RESIDENCE TO HOST
TOUR AND DEMONSTRATION
Please join San Francisco Bay Area artist Jenny E. Balisle, the current Artist in Residence at the Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, on Saturday June 6th at 10:30 am for an artist talk followed with a pattern discovery walk. Jenny has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows including the de Young Museum Artist-in-Residence, Museu Brasileiro Sao Paulo, Chicago Cultural Center, Korean Cultural Center, and Harvard University. During the residency, she will be creating abstract pen and ink drawings based on patterns from the Refuge’s history, surrounding communities, and natural environment.
The Artist-In-Residence Program at Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge offers artists the opportunity to pursue their artistic discipline while being surrounded by the refuge's inspiring landscape and wildlife. Selected artists stay in refuge housing for two to four weeks during each of three periods from March-April, June-July, and September-October. The program is a partnership with the Friends of Noxubee Refuge, MSU Department of Art in the College of Architecture, Art and Design, Starkville Area Arts Council and the Fish and Wildlife Service.

Every third Saturday, April through October, enjoy the beauty of Bluff Lake by canoe for FREE!
